Two former IU football players quickly signed free agent deals soon after the conclusion of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Wide receiver Ty Fryfogle signed with the Dallas Cowboys and has a camp invite there according to multiple reports.
Offensive tackle Caleb Jones signed with the Green Bay Packers, also according to multiple reports.
Fryfogle finished his career sixth on Indiana’s career lists in receptions (158) and yardage (2,231), and tied for 10th in receiving touchdowns (10) in 53 games (33 starts). He was third-team All-American and Big Ten Receiver of the Year in 2020.
Jones started the final 30 games of his career and appeared in 41 overall with IU. He made 24 starts at right tackle and six at left tackle.
Earlier in the day, linebacker Micah McFadden was drafted by the New York Giants.
