Class of 2021 top-70 forward Mason Miller’s recruitment is developing quickly.
On Saturday Miller announced that he was down to a final two of Indiana and Creighton.
On Sunday new reports indicate that Miller will announce his commitment this Wednesday.
Indiana will apparently get one last chance to speak with Miller on a Zoom call on Monday.
Jake Lieberman of Zags Blog had all of the original reporting on the Sunday developments.
“Four-star Mason Miller tells me that he plans on announcing his college destination next Wednesday,” Lieberman wrote on Twitter. “Miller will be taking an in-person visit to Indiana this week, but isn’t allowed to have any contact with the coaching staff.”
Subsequent reports by Tipton Edits and recruiting sites 247Sports and Rivals suggested that the in-person visit might instead just be a Zoom call.
Miller became a priority recruit for IU after previous recruiting losses in the frontcourt.
Indiana has already missed on priority 2021 forwards Trey Kaufman and Bryce Hopkins in the high school senior class.
The Hoosiers extended an offer to 2021 forward Mustapha Amzil last week, perhaps signaling the direction of the Miller recruitment.
