Class of 2021 shooting guard Terrence Clarke is having a big spring playing up a year on the Nike EYBL.
After averaging 17 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game for the Expressions Elite, the 6-foot-7 Clarke has become the No. 2 class of 2021 recruiting prospect nationally according to both 247Sports and Rivals.
Clarke is from Boston and attends Brewster Academy. He will be teammates there with fellow IU recruiting target Matt Cross.
One thing to keep an eye on with Clarke is whether he might reclassify into the class of 2020.
In an interview with Eric Bossi of Rivals, Clarke addressed the reclassify topic.
”Right now, I mean people have been talking about it like you said,” Clarke said. “So it’s been a topic of discussion but not really for me and I haven’t really focused on it too much. But if it comes down to it whatever is the best situation for me, I could look into it.”
Indiana is routinely mentioned as one of a number of schools that are contenders in Clarke’s recruitment that includes the likes of Kentucky, North Carolina and other top programs.
Clarke visited Indiana last September and has told the recruiting services recently that he would like to make a return visit to IU.
