Former Indiana basketball forward Christian Watford joined IU sports information director JD Campbell to relive Indiana’s memorable 72-68 win at Michigan State in 2013.
The Hoosiers had lost 17 straight — since 1991 — on the road against the Spartans. But in this No. 1 vs. No. 4 matchup the Hoosiers came out on top.
As they did so often during the 2012-13 season, IU put several players in double figures. Victor Oladipo led the way with 19 points, while Cody Zeller added 17, and Watford and Jordan Hulls contributed 12 apiece.
