Indiana class of 2022 commit Dasan McCullough is the highest rated recruit for the Hoosiers in the rankings era. The 6-foot-5, 220 pound four-star is the No. 55 overall player in the senior class according to the 247Sports Composite, and he has looked the part through the first two weeks of his return to Bloomington.
Playing for South High School, the son of running backs coach Deland McCullough is playing on both sides of the ball. On Friday against Martinsville he had 6-yard touchdown reception and an 11-yard fumble return. He also had a interception return for a touchdown that was called back because of a blocking penalty on the return. His brother, class of 2023 IU commit Daeh, added an 80-yard interception return on a play where Dasan had pressure on the quarterback.
In week one against New Albany Dasan had five tackles, four tackles for loss, two QB pressures, and a blocked extra point. On offense he had one reception that went for a 1-yard touchdown, and he also caught a pass for a two-point conversion.
