Former IU quarterback Kurtis Rourke will be an interesting name to watch in the latter rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft this weekend. His 2024 season for the Hoosiers propelled Rourke up draft boards, but a later disclosed knee injury that required postseason surgery has created some doubts.
Leading IU to one of its best seasons ever, Rourke was named second-team All-Big Ten Conference in 2024. He set a school single-season record with 29 passing TDs. Rourke ranked eighth in the FBS with a 69.4 percent completion rate (222-320), and he was tied for 10th with the 29 passing TDs (against 5 INTs).
Rourke played through a partially torn and then later torn ACL all season and had surgery in January 2025.
Watch below a documentary by Canadian network TSN that profiles his childhood growing up in the shadow of his brother Nathan, his time at Ohio and Indiana, and his preparation for the Draft.
