In an ordinary year, Indiana’s senior day is a festive moment where departing players are given the opportunity to step up the microphone and give speeches to the home crowd at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
As with all things in 2020 and 2021, senior day took on a different feel this year. Instead of speeches, IU basketball released video messages from guards Al Durham and Cooper Bybee.
Each player took a few minutes to tell their story and give thanks to their families, coaches, teammates and staff members that helped them along the way.
