Indiana defensive coordinator Kane Wommack is preparing to coach his final game at IU as he gets set to take over as the head coach at South Alabama.
Named Indiana first ever Broyles Award finalist, Wommack spoke on Tuesday about his dual roles, along with facing a program that he knows well at the Outback Bowl.
Wommack was on the Ole Miss staff along with his father Dave Wommack, Tom Allen and others on the IU staff.
Indiana (6-1) and Mississippi (4-5) will kick off on Jan. 2 at 12:30 p.m. in Tampa.
