Below are the junior season highlights for in-state (Brebeuf H.S. / Indianapolis) 4-star defensive lineman Joe Strickland.
The top-rated strong-side defensive end in the state finished his junior season with 50 tackles, 13 quarterback hurries, 6.5 sacks and 11 tackles-for-loss.
A 4-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, Strickland is the No. 202 player in the class of 2022 overall and No. 11 strong-side defensive end. He’s the No. 5 prospect in Indiana in the next cycle.
Indiana is working hard to keep the talented in-state product home but has heavy competition. Penn State, Michigan, Virginia, Stanford, Nebraska, Purdue and Minnesota have been the main schools involved for Strickland according to recent reports by the recruiting sites.
