Auburn transfer defensive end/bull Jaren Handy met with the media on Tuesday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 255-pound junior from Hattiesburg, Miss., recorded three tackles including two for loss and a sack in limited action as a reserve for the Tigers in 2020. The sack came against Alabama and the tackle for loss came against Northwestern in the Citrus Bowl.
As a true freshman in 2019, Handy recorded seven tackles in seven appearances. He was an all-state player at Hattiesburg High School. As a recruit in the class of 2019, Handy was a 4-star and ranked the No. 100 overall player in the class and the No. 7 strong-side defensive end according to the 247Sports Composite. He chose Auburn over a long list of offers that included LSU, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
Handy took questions on his decision to come to IU, his early days in Bloomington, and much more.
