Former IU football linebackers Tegray Scales and Chris Covington joined defensive coordinator Kane Wommack and head coach Tom Allen to discuss their time in Bloomington.
Joining the roundtable were current players Micah McFadden, Thomas Allen and Marcelino Ball.
Both Covington and Scales were instrumental to the turnaround of the IU defense in 2016 that coincided with the arrival of Tom Allen as defensive coordinator.
Covington was the IU defensive player of the year in 2017 and honorable mention All-Big Ten. Scales was first team All-Big Ten in 2017 and was the team MVP for two consecutive seasons.
