Wedig transferred from Wisconsin to IU in December.
A graduate transfer, the 6-foot-7 and 318-pound Wedig has one year of eligibility remaining.
Wedig played in 34 games with eight starts during his time in Madison. All of his starts came during the 2022 season. Wedig played in a rotation at guard off the bench in 2023 under new head coach Luke Fickell. He saw more than 250 snaps this past season.
