Penix spent the offseason rehabbing a torn ACL, his third season ending injury in as many seasons. Over the course of his three-year Indiana career, Penix has completed 255 of his 414 throws (61.6 percent) for 3,258 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
Indiana opens the 2021 season on Sept. 4 at Iowa.
