Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo spoke at length this week about former Indiana head coach Bob Knight.
Izzo took over the Michigan State job in 1995 and went head-to-head against Knight’s Hoosiers for five seasons. Knight and Izzo are first and second, respectively, for most wins by a coach at a Big Ten school. Izzo holds a 5-3 lead in head-to-head meetings.
Indiana (14-4, 4-3) and Michigan State (14-4, 6-1) will tip at 8:30 p.m. ET at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington on Thursday night. The game will air on FS1.
