Former Indiana player and current Penn State guard Curtis Jones, Jr. met with the media earlier this week to discuss tonight’s game against the Hoosiers.
Originally recruiting to Indiana by Tom Crean as part of the class of 2016, Jones played for IU during the 2016-17 season and he appeared in seven games during the 2017-18 season under Archie Miller before deciding to transfer mid-season. He averaged 3.4 points over 40 games for his Indiana career. Jones first transferred to Oklahoma State before landing at PSU.
Now a senior, Jones comes off the bench for Penn State. He is averaging 7.4 points per game and is coming off a season high 18 points against Michigan last week. The Richmond, Virginia native is shooting 38.5 percent from the field overall, including 32.6 percent from three-point range.
