Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano met with the media this week to preview Saturday’s contest against Indiana.
The Scarlet Knights are coming off a surprising 38-27 win over Michigan State in East Lansing last weekend.
Schiano is in his second stint as the Rutgers head coach. He led the program to unprecedented success from 2001-11.
The Scarlet Knights made six bowl appearances during his prior stint and he was named the 2006 National Coach of the Year. Schiano held a 68-67 record as the Rutgers head coach, including a 56-33 mark in his last seven seasons.
Prior to returning to Piscataway this year, Schiano served a two year stint as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and then later as the defensive coordinator at Ohio State.
