Watch as South Carolina head coach Lamont Paris met with the media ahead of his team’s Saturday game at Indiana (3 p.m. ET, Peacock).
Paris has a history in the Big Ten. He served as an assistant at Wisconsin under both Bo Ryan and Greg Gard from 2010-17. He also has Indiana ties. He got a masters degree from Indiana State, and coached two years at DePauw.
South Carolina took a major step forward in Paris’ second season in charge, improving from 11-21 to 26-8, including a 13-5 finish in the SEC in 2023-24. The Gamecocks were a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament and lost to Oregon in the first round.
