Jordan Hulls has played his last professional basketball game and he has now officially turned his attention to his new role with IU basketball as team and recruitment coordinator.
“Going back to my roots is a great opportunity for my family and I. We had an incredibly good time here in Europe – but our parents are not getting any younger and this opportunity to coach is unique. We couldn’t turn down such an offer,” Hulls said at a MHP Riesen team ceremony earlier this week after the conclusion of his overseas career.
Hulls played at Indiana for former head coach Tom Crean, who recorded a congratulatory message that he shared on Twitter.
The pair won a Big Ten title together in 2013.
I was honored to be asked by @jonihulls to provide a video for @JordanHulls1 retirement from professional 🏀 We are so proud of the career he has had and we get to watch the coaching career take off at @IndianaMBB pic.twitter.com/nup7Dkbcd0
