National recruiting outlet 247Sports posted updated high school basketball recruiting rankings for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 classes.
Below we list where the main players IU has been involved with landed in the update. You can see the full lists here.
These rankings are the view of 247Sports only, so that’s why some players you’ve grown accustomed to seeing ranked higher, such as Boogie Fland, appear where they do. We very much prefer the aggregate/composite rankings that average the views of the various national outlets and help to eliminate bias.
So as with all rankings, take this for what it’s worth — a data point.
CLASS OF 2024
Among the main players IU is clearly still in contention for in the class of 2024, here’s how things shook out:

It’s far too soon to examine IU’s involvement with the class of 2026. They haven’t offered anyone in the sophomore class yet, but they are starting to host visitors this fall.
The one thing we’ll note is 247Sports doesn’t list anyone from the state of Indiana in their debut top-60 rankings.
