As is the case throughout college football each season, Indiana’s roster will look quite a bit different in 2024.
In total as of Tuesday morning Curt Cignetti’s Hoosiers have added 17 players from the transfer portal. They also have another 17 players from the high school ranks set to join the team in 2024.
Today is the last day players can enter the portal for a while, although those in the portal by today can take as long as necessary to find a new home.
The overhaul will continue all the way through the end of spring practice, after which a second portal period opens up May 1-15.
With roughly 40 percent of the projected IU roster made up of new players, how does that incoming talent rank? Here is where Indiana stands at the moment compared to the rest of the nation and the Big Ten, according to national recruiting outlets On3 and 247Sports.
