Yarden Garzon has been named a second team All-Big Ten selection by both coaches and media.
The junior was the lone IU player to earn recognition on the second team; no Hoosiers made the first team, for the first time since 2019. This is her second time appearing on the second-team All-Big Ten, along with her freshman season in 2022-23.
Going into the Big Ten Tournament, Garzon is averaging a career-high 14.1 points per game on the season. The Israeli reached the 1,000-point milestone in January. She’s also setting career-bests with , 3.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game, along with her 87.7 free-throw percentage.
Additionally, graduate students Chloe Moore-McNeil and Sydney Parrish were named All-Big Ten honorable mentions. Parrish has scored a career-high 12.2 points per game, which is second on the team behind Garzon. She has arguably been Indiana’s most consistent player. Moore-McNeil is averaging 9.5 points and a team-high 4.2 assists per game.
